We have reached a milestone of which we are immensely proud: the 10th edition of our International Piano Competition. Achieving this goal has required constant effort, unwavering dedication, and, above all, a deep-seated passion. This is the driving force that, year after year, motivates our entire team to bravely face ongoing challenges and new obstacles, all to provide our local community with an event of the highest caliber.

This year, however, we reach this milestone with a touch of sadness in our hearts, but with even greater determination. This tenth edition is a very special one, marked by the painful and recent passing of PRESIDENT , Angelo Colafemmina.

Angelo was the heart and soul, the guiding force, and the backbone of this organization. To honor his memory and his tireless love for music, his family—which has always been at the forefront of the Association’s activities—has decided to dedicate this important milestone to him. 

Starting this year, the contest begins a new chapter and is officially named Premio Angelo e Giovanni Colafemmina, bringing together in a single tribute the figures of father and son, forever bound by music and love. The family and the entire organization will do everything in their power to carry on Angelo’s vision and his invaluable work. 

Our hope and our mission remain unchanged: welcome warmly welcomes young talents from around the world, spread great classical music in the heart of our local community and in the hearts of our fellow citizens, our longtime supporters, and all those who will be experiencing the competition for the first time.
